Astell & Kern , known for premium players, has released a portable DAC headphone amplifier. The amp was dubbed the ACRO CA1000 .
As the developers explained, their DAC is ideal for headphones with 15V RMS output voltage. The device is equipped with an ESS ES9068AS chip and is powered by a built-in 8400 mAh battery. The CA1000 can also be operated from a network.
On the case, users will find four connectors: 6.5mm and 3.5mm, as well as balanced 2.5mm and 4.4mm. The DAC can be included in the system. For this, USB , Toslink and analog RCA connectors are provided .
The device accepts 32 bit / 384 kHz PCM and DSD512 signals . The signal can be transmitted via Bluetooth version 5.0 with support for aptX HD and LDAC codecs . Support declaredWi-Fi .
The 60 ° tiltable screen displays important information as well as information about the song being played.
The cost of Astell & Kern ACRO CA1000 has not yet been announced.
