Astell&Kern presented an updated version of its Astell&Kern ACRO CA1000 desktop player . The novelty received a new amplification scheme, has many ports for use with different types of headphones and connecting additional devices.
Astell & Kern’s ACRO CA1000T is the world’s first portable device with the latest flagship ESS Dual DAC and Dual Tube Triple Amp System technologies.
The ESS DAC inside the system is the ES9039MPRO, which is claimed to deliver pure 3D sound with improved modulation for improved power efficiency and reduced noise. It also features a new circuit that promises full, detailed sound across the entire frequency range.

KORG Nutube Dual Twin Triode tubes provide a special “tube” sound. A balanced circuit separates the left and right channels with two vacuum tubes to create more natural and mellow sounds. The Triple Amp System allows you to select tube or operational amplifier mode, or both modes at the same time.
Like the previous model, the CA1000T uses the South Korean company’s Teraton Alpha technology, which aims to eliminate distortion even at the highest volumes. And it supports four-stage gain adjustment up to 15V rms for more advanced headphones and in-channel monitors.
Natively supports DSD512 and 32-bit/768kHz PCM files, full MQA decoding, and aptX HD and LDAC codecs for premium sound quality when streaming via Bluetooth 5.0. There is support for Roon Ready.
The battery of the player is up to 10 hours. A special power circuit reduces electronic interference during operation while charging.
