Android TV and Google TV platforms can now be controlled from iPhone/iPad

iOS devices  have  received another update to the  Google  Home app , which adds the ability to remotely control Android TV and Google TV functions . You can now use your  iPhone or iPad  to navigate the smart TV platform and search for the content you need. In addition, the virtual assistant  Google  Assistant can also be used for these purposes on these devices .

Recall that a  number of TVs  from Sony ,  Philips ,  TCL ,  Hisense  and other manufacturers work on Android TV and Google TV  platforms.
