NAT Magma Evo 170 Watt Single Ended Tube Amplifier

NAT Audio has unveiled the Magma Evo single-ended tube amplifier capable of delivering mind-blowing power for this type of equipment.

The apparatus was built on the well-known direct-heated triode GM100 , the orange-red color of the glow of the anode of which, reminiscent of red-hot volcanic magma, gave the name to the amplifier.

The circuit completely lacks common feedback and interstage capacitors, the user can choose between two levels of output power – moderate 50 watts or increased 170 watts . In both cases, the amplifier operates in pure class A. The 1000-watt output transformers , manufactured by the company itself, have a bandwidth of 8 to 70,000 Hz .

6N6P-IR double triodes were used as an input lamp and driver , the output lamp is covered with a non-magnetic protective casing of the original form. The input sensitivity is 1.25 V , the input impedance is 100 kOhm . Each monoblock NAT Magma Evo weighs 50 kilograms.
