ONEPLUS BUDS PRO 2 LITE UNVEILED

OnePlus held an event dedicated to the presentation of the Nord 2V smartphone. Despite the fact that this new product attracted all the attention, there were other interesting announcements, among them the Buds Pro 2 Lite TWS headphones.

They do not differ from the Pro version, but they have almost all of their functions. No wireless charging.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite is a cheaper version of the headphones that offers almost the same features as the Buds 2 Pro. They look exactly the same, the only external difference lies in the colors. The novelty has a white color, but no green. The earbuds have active noise cancellation and can block out 48db of external noise. There are three microphones on each earbud, they can also be used for noise cancellation during calls. The manufacturer declared the protection class IP55, that is, the device is able to operate in wet and dusty conditions, and also withstands splashing water.

Buds Pro 2 Lite supports Hi-Res Audio, has sound calibration from Dynaudio and the legendary composer Hans Zimmer. Headphones are also suitable for games thanks to a special mode with a delay of 54 ms. Support for the LHDC 5.0 audio codec with a bandwidth of up to 1 Mbps is also announced. The only things they lack are Qi wireless charging and head tracking, although there is spatial audio.

As for battery, Buds Pro 2 Lite are designed for 9 hours of continuous music playback, and due to the charging case, this time increases to 39 hours. It is worth considering that this result is achieved without noise reduction. With the ANC function, the earbuds run time is reduced to 6 hours, and with a case – up to 25 hours.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite is currently available for pre-order in China for 750 yuan. The headphones will go on retail sale on March 13, the price will be 800 yuan.
