Ricoh Japan continues to diversify its camera lines, but, unfortunately, not with new models, but only with tuning of existing ones. After the release of two Limited-series Pentax KF “Crystal Blue” and “Crystal White”, the company announced the release of two new variants of Pentax KF in limited versions: “Olive” (olive / olive) and “Stone” (stone), each with an edition of only 700 copies. They will be available for purchase from February 2, 2023, but for now only in Japan.
It should be noted that the prices of limited edition cameras are usually higher than the production cameras, but the prices of the “Crystal Blue”/”Crystal White” and the new “Olive”/”Stone” versions are the same as the price of the standard Pentax KF camera – 119,800 yen ($927). Apparently in this way and not from a good life, the company is trying to maintain at least some interest in its products.
