Rumor: In 2024, Samsung will release as many as 6 foldable devices

One of the insiders revealed Samsung’s plans for 2024 on Twitter, and they are quite ambitious.

What to expect

According to his information, next year the company plans to introduce as many as 6 foldable devices. In addition to the regular Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, these will be the Galaxy Z Flip Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, Galaxy Z Flex (three-part gadget) and Galaxy Z Tab (foldable tablet).

At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Ultra will receive a 4K display, and the Galaxy Z Flip Ultra will receive a 2K display, both produced by Samsung Display. But BOE will take over the supply of panels for the regular Z Fold and Z Flip.

In addition, the insider says that the company will abandon the Galaxy S24+ flagship and introduce a new series of mid-range smartphones – Galaxy K. By the way, K-based model numbers were indeed seen in the Bluetooth SIG database at the beginning of the year, but these could be Galaxy S23 in disguise. Therefore, it is better to treat insider data with doubt.
