On August 30, 2025, Samsung unveiled a brand-new addition to its ViewFinity lineup: the 37-inch ViewFinity S8 (model S80UD). The company promoted the launch with the catchy slogan “how 5 inches can change everyday life,” highlighting how this new size bridges the gap between the existing 32-inch and 43-inch models.

A Perfect Middle Ground
The 37-inch format aims to hit the sweet spot for professionals and creators who find 32 inches a little cramped, but 43 inches too overwhelming. With a 16:9 aspect ratio and UHD resolution, the S80UD delivers both sharp details and an expanded workspace. Samsung notes that compared to a 32-inch display, the extra screen real estate makes text appear larger and easier to read without compromising clarity.

Designed for Comfort and Productivity
The TÜV Rheinland certification designates the S80UD as an “ergonomic display for the workspace.” Samsung has integrated features to reduce eye strain during long work sessions, including its Intelligent Eye Care mode, which cuts down on harmful blue light emissions.
For multitasking, the monitor includes:
-
Built-in KVM switch – control multiple devices with a single keyboard and mouse.
-
Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes – ideal for connecting a laptop, smartphone, or second PC simultaneously.
Smart Setup and Connectivity
Samsung has also prioritized ease of use. Thanks to the Easy Setup Stand, the monitor can be assembled in just 10 seconds, no tools required—just snap, rotate, and lock into place.

Connectivity is modern and versatile, with a USB-C port supporting up to 90W power delivery, meaning you can charge your laptop directly while using the display.
Availability
Samsung has not yet announced the price or release date of the 37-inch ViewFinity S8, but given its positioning between the 32-inch and 43-inch models, it’s expected to appeal to both office professionals and content creators who value screen space, comfort, and productivity.
