ShiftCam unveiled LensUltra smartphone lenses, the world’s first lenses made from fluorite. This unique material provides photographers with unparalleled clarity and improved bokeh in their images.
While the use of fluorite in full-size lenses has long been adopted by well-known manufacturers, ShiftCam was the first to use it in lenses designed for mobile photography. This material improves image quality, reduces color fringing, and provides more accurate color reproduction.
The collection includes telephoto, macro, wide angle, traditional macro, fisheye and anamorphic video lenses.
LensUltra lenses are mounted on a smartphone using the universal ShiftCam Lens Mount or a special camera case. The lenses are compatible with most smartphones on the market that support the Universal Mount, as well as select iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models. In addition, the case provides protection against drops from a height of up to two meters.
LensUltra lenses are available for Kickstarter support starting at $119 for a single photo lens and up to $850 for a complete set of lenses and filters. This offer allows photographers to choose the most suitable lens according to their needs and preferences.
In addition, the LensUltra collection includes two filters: variable neutral density and circular polarizing. Variable neutral density allows you to control the amount of incident light, which is especially useful when shooting in bright light or when creating the effect of movement. Circular Polarizer, in turn, helps eliminate unwanted reflections and enhances color saturation.
ShiftCam is confident that its lenses are compatible with most smartphones on the market and offer a universal mount and case for a wide range of models. The company is currently in the Kickstarter fundraising phase, where users can support the project and pre-order LensUltra lenses.
