The Roma 117DC preamplifier is produced by the Italian Hi-Fi brand Synthesis Art in Music, located in Morrovalle, in the center of Italy.
The preamp uses a selection of carefully selected tubes: 4 x 6922 miniature double triodes, 6DJ8 miniature double triode/ECC88 double triode. Inputs – one balanced XLR and 4 unbalanced (RCA). The declared frequency response is 5-40 kHz with an unevenness of 3 dB, and the THD + noise parameter should be no worse than 0.1% (20 Hz – 20 kHz). Signal-to-noise ratio: > 90 dB (A-weighted).
Synthesis believes that the Roma 117DC is a perfect match for the branded Roma 98DC monoblocks, though it could be a suitable companion for many brands of amps. It comes in a custom finish (pictured with a Red Wood finish) and comes with a remote control.
